PERIODONTAL THERAPY
If you have been diagnosed with and treated for periodontal (gum) disease, regularly scheduled supportive therapy is vitally important to your success in the management of disease progression.
PREVENTIVE FLUORIDE THERAPY
Fluoride is a mineral that is naturally found in many things we eat or drink. It is nature’s way of helping prevent cavities.
ROOT PLANING & SCALING
This extensive cleaning treatment is provided by the hygienist for patients who have tartar, calculus, and bacteria buried below the gum line of the tooth. Root planing and scaling helps to prevent and, in some cases, to treat gum disease.
TOOTH EXTRACTIONS
In some cases, injury or decay damages a tooth extensively, and an extraction is the proper treatment option to start you on the path toward complete dental health.
FILLINGS
If you are embarrassed about your smile because of decayed, disfigured, or discolored teeth, you may be a good candidate for composite resins.
ORAL CANCER SCREENINGS
Oral cancer affects tens of thousands of Americans every year, and one case in four is fatal. As with most cancers, the key to beating the disease is catching it before it progresses to a later stage.
NIGHTGUARDS
Many people who notice chipped or cracked teeth, but who don’t remember when the injury occurred, damaged their teeth while they were sleeping.
ORA VERSE®
Utilizing a breakthrough technology, Ora Verse® “reverses” the effects of local anesthesia, allowing you to regain lip sensation in less than half the time.
MOUTH GUARDS
If your child plays sports or other similar activities, mouth guards are a great way to protect their teeth from potential injury.
SEALANTS
Applying a sealant to your teeth can prevent cavities as well as the need for fillings, which must be replaced every 6-8 years. Children especially benefit from sealants.
